Samsung Galaxy A51 is the Best Budget Smartphone in 2020: Great Screen and Battery
Samsung Galaxy A51 is the best mid-range phone the brand has come up with. It is one of the hot-selling phones because of two things: first, it has the premium flagship feel and second, it is the affordable price range. Various improvements are made in comparison to its predecessor. You get to enjoy the premium flagship standard 6.5 inches Super AMOLED Infinity-O display, a huge 128GB internal storage, an incredible Quad camera setup, and an efficient Li-Po 4000mAh battery with fast charging.
It is among the first phones in the series to sport an Infinity-O display and a macro camera. So, its performance is more refined and super awesome than ever with such a fine display and a smart camera. There isn’t a lot of competition at this price level, except with Redmi K20 Pro and Redmi K20.
Design and Display
Samsung Galaxy A51 stands out from other phones in its competition because of its slim body that is comfortable to handle. If you’re well familiar with other flagship models, it looks the same but it is made up of plastic to reduce cost but has an elegant finish giving a rainbow color in certain lighting. There’s a new texture to set it apart that gives a premium feel.
The display is upgraded compared to A50, it looks and feels like a modern flagship. It has a 6.5 inches super AMOLED display with 1080p resolution and though it is curved it has really thin bezels. And instead of a notch, there is the hole-punched camera which is not totally unobtrusive but it is all right.
The resolution is great with plenty of sharpness and contrast, colours can be set in the colour setting and brightness is respectable. The screen is always on display which will show you time and notification even when the phone is asleep. There is the in-display fingerprint sensor which is very reliable but not the fastest around. It also has an edge panel which might be pretty handy, swiping in the edge will bring you to customise wall space for a shortcut.
Chipset
Samsung Galaxy A51 has the new generation Exynos 9611 (10nm) chipset. It runs Android 10, One UI 2.1 with a powerful Octa-core (4×2.3 GHz Cortex-A73 & 4×1.7 GHz Cortex-A53) processor, and a favorable GPU of Mali-G72 MP3. Though it’s processor is not on target as it’s other competitors but it won’t let you down in your daily task.
It is decently responsive, snappy, and pretty comfortable to do stuff like browsing, scrolling through a social media news feed, and all. These all make this phone suitable for entertainment, gaming, and educational purposes. The smartphone is integrated with a 6 GB RAM and has 128 GB internal storage capacity to store videos, music files, images, and more.
Camera
The back of the Samsung Galaxy A51 has a bump, where four cameras are arranged in an L shape, including a 48 MP (wide), a 12 MP (ultrawide), a 5 MP dedicated macro camera, and a 5 MP depth sensor.
The primary camera captures photos with very good color reproduction, and details were fairly well represented with not a lot of noise. Live-focus mode blurs out backgrounds for a more dramatic look. Image quality is good and the depth camera helps the Galaxy A51 do a decent job of edge detection.
The front camera there is a 32 MP wide-angle sensor for clicking super selfies and recording videos with 1080p at 30fps. There is an active noise cancellation with a dedicated mic along with a 3.5mm jack.
Battery
Samsung Galaxy A51 is packed with a fairly large battery of 4000mAh and is equipped with 15W fast charging. You can easily manage to get a full day’s worth of regular use, with enough power left over to get you going through another half day. So no need to worry about running out of battery if you are a normal user. The fast-charging technology lets you charge your phone relatively quickly. So wherever you run out of power, just grab your fast charger and plug it and after some moment you are good to go again.
