Design and Display

Redmi K20 Pro has a notch-free edge to edge Super AMOLED display sized 6.39 inches with the aspect ratio of 19.5:9 and screen to body ratio of 91.9%. It has a screen resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. It has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 (stronger than its predecessor) front and back giving it a glossy look and has an aluminum frame.

Redmi K20 also has the same Horizon AMOLED display and same screen resolution as K20, except for the screen size which is slightly smaller with 6.37 inches. This smartphone has a graceful Aura Design and 3D curvature and weighs 191 grams. Both Redmi K20 and K20 Pro have identical camera setup, triple camera in the rear with a 48MP Sony IMX586 high-resolution primary sensor combined with a 124.8° FOV 13MP ultra-wide-angle camera for snapping the complete scene and an 8MP telephoto camera for capturing distanced objects with an excellent zooming feature (0.6x to 2x). The triple AI camera works to produce images with sharp details and rich colour reproduction. Only difference in camera setup is K20 uses IMX582 main sensor instead of IMX586.

It has a special feature, a motorized pop-up selfie camera with a 20MP sensor. Don’t worry if you drop the phone when the selfie camera is out because it has emergency drop detection and protection along with downward pressure detection. Talking about the video, Redmi K20 supports 4K at 30fps, 1080p at 30/120/240fps, and 1080p at 960fps. The front camera supports 1080p at 30fps.

Xiaomi has added a screen-on feature (can be enabled from settings), but that too doesn’t hinder the battery life. For normal day to day use the power can endure upto 1 and a ½ days. Fret not gamers, you will have uninterrupted power for 7-8 hours.

Redmi K20 is also fueled by a 4000mAh high-capacity battery to let you keep going all day long. Unfortunately, it does not support 27W fast charging and comes with 18W.
