The preorders have already begun for all these four phones. Two of these (iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro) started shipping to customers on October 23 while the other two (iPhone 12 Pro Max and iPhone 12 Mini) will go out on November 13.
Brief Verdict of iPhone 12 Lineup
The iPhone 12 and 12 Pro are currently the ultimate flagship phone in the smartphone industry. With a powerful and zappy processor, superb triple camera array, 5G, and a fascinating look with durable design. Their performance review is at the top of the competition on the bases like camera test, performance test, and durability test to name a few. Clearly, iPhone 12 and 12 Pro are the top choices for those who are in need of a smartphone with the latest technology.
This year, Apple has numerous treats to its customers, one to give a nostalgic feeling with the new model called iPhone 12 Mini, and another to provide an awesome display and a fantastic camera that might be a serious attack on every mirrorless camera out there.
In simple terms, the company is splitting these phones into two categories: the iPhone 12 line and the “Pro” line.
The regular iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Mini are the company’s budget cut devices while the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max are Apple’s most expensive iPhones. The only difference is the camera experience- the “Pro” model features a triple camera array and many extraordinary features for those who are keen on photography.
iPhone 12 Mini
It is the youngest sibling of the iPhone 12 series. Sized 5.4 inches, it is the smallest iPhone after iPhone SE 2016. It is structurally like the smaller version of the iPhone 12. Filling the gap between the regular and pro models this year, Apple has incorporated OLED display in all versions of this series, including this compatible Mini version.
iPhone 12
iPhone 12 features the most powerful and fastest A14 Bionic processor, dual camera array, 5G, a magnetic feature called ‘MagSafe’ that will allow it to connect to other mobile accessories such as Mag wallet and charger.

iPhone 12 Pro
iPhone 12 Pro is equipped with nearly every hardware benefit of the iPhone 12 Pro Max but in the smaller body of iPhone 12. The sweeter features than iPhone 12 are a brighter screen, lidar sensors, the aforementioned telephoto camera, and fascinating camera tools like ProRAW.

iPhone 12 Pro Max
This is Apple’s most advanced iPhone. It carries all the newest and excellent features the brand has to offer. A large display – 6.7 inches and a game-changing camera setup, more advanced features than iPhone 12 Pro. The iPhone 12 Pro Max will satisfy you in every need and wants that a smartphone is built to do. Whether it is watching movies in a cinematic way as possible, or shooting absolutely the best photo and video, this device will leave no stone unturned. With all this, it is also undeniable that this device is expensive. This is a high-end smartphone in terms of its both price and performance.

Design
The overall looks of all four iPhone 12 models are the same. They all feature an OLED display, hold a new Magsafe feature, IP68 rated for water and dust resistance, and above all the more durable screens strengthened by ceramic.
The main difference is the size of the iPhone 12 Pro Max- features the largest screen. The 6.7 inches iPhone Pro Max is the go-to device if you want to enjoy movies on the most cinematic display ever, play graphic-intensive games, and enjoy daily tasks but on a larger screen- if you like everything large.
The iPhone 12 Pro Max is the eldest brother of the iPhone 12 family, based on the size, and the youngest is the iPhone 12 Mini, with only 5.4 inches display (ideal for the users who prefer the phone that can be used one-handed). If both the Mini and Pro Max design are not what you want, then you can go for iPhone 12 and 12 Pro. Both feature a 6.1 inches display with the same resolution and pixel density. However, the brightness is higher in the Pro model featuring 800 nits of maximum brightness compared to 625 nits of iPhone 12 display.
The images look equally sharp no matter what device you choose. The only difference is that the iPhone 12 Pro’s display is really good to look at in broad daylight.
Like the previous iPhones, this newest lineup followed the glass sandwich design. Instead of standard cover glass, they are protected by a Ceramic Shield for four times better drop protection. The ceramic shield is made by infusing non-ceramic crystals into glass. While the iPhone 12 and the mini versions have the aerospace-grade aluminium enclosures, the “Pro” models are heavier- all thanks to their stainless steel frame and addition of extra hardware.
All the four members of this new lineup are guaranteed to be durable and strong. They come in five charming colors: blue, green, black, white and red.
A14 Bionic Chipset
All four models of iPhone 12 are equipped with Apple’s A14 Bionic chip, the combination of 6-core CPU and 4-core GPU built on 5nm technology which is 50% faster than any smartphone chips. This is the fastest and most powerful processor of Apple. This chipset is a slayer and has beaten every of its competition in the market- sitting at the top of the performance scoring chart.
There is a new sixteen-core Neural Engine which is 80% faster than the previous generation allowing the machine learning up to 70% faster. Other improvements in this new generation of iPhones include a new signal processor for Dolby Vision content, Smart HDR 3 for more natural colors in photos and more.
All four models support 5G connectivity, allowing you to faster uploads and downloads, smoother and high-quality video streaming, HD 1080p FaceTime calls, and of course, improved gaming.
