Design
Redmi SonicBass Wireless Earphones is lightweight, 21.2g with Flexi-Arc design curves that comfortably sits on the neck all day long. Primarily built of plastic, it has a matte finish and minimalistic look. The surface of the neckband that rests on the back is flat while other sides are rounded, adding to your comfort. The earphones fit comfortably into your ears because of the in-ear design and the silicone ear-tips make it stable in your ears even while you are jogging or working out in the gym. When lying down idle, the magnetic housing in the earbuds keeps it attached to one another, preventing it from dropping down. It comes in two lovely colors, blue and black.
On the left side, there is Redmi branding and a micro USB charging port is situated under the flap on the right side. The right side also houses a multi-function button and volume adjustment buttons. The multi-function button can be used to answer or reject calls, play or pause, turn on voice assistant (double press), switch to phone during calls, and more. The volume rockers can also help to switch to next or previous tracks by pressing and holding the buttons while listening to music.
Battery and IPX4 Ratings
There is a 120mAh battery in Redmi SonicBass Wireless Earphones to keep you going all day long. It offers 12 hours of uninterrupted music playback. You can get up to 200 hours of Standby Time. It takes around 2 hours to fully charge the earphones.
It comes with IPX4 ratings to withstand sweat and light rain, but be careful that it is not completely waterproof. It is not designed for extra-durability against spills and splashes, it is the perfect gym partner for you as you sweat it out in the gym.
Audio Quality
When it comes to audio quality, Redmi SonicBass Wireless Earphones offers decent audio quality with fairly good bass with 9.2mm divers, which is impressive. However, mids are a bit compromised, which is totally acceptable for the price range. Volume is also good, which is loud enough at 60-70%. The Sub Band Coding makes it capable of bit rates up to 328 kbps for listening to 320-bit MP3s.
Noise Cancellation
The dual-mic environmental noise cancellation is the spotlight in Redmi SonicBass Wireless Spotlight. The voice quality during phone calls is made better with dual-mic ENC, which suppresses noises in the background and makes the voice clear and crisp towards the receiving end. There is dual device connectivity, which means you can receive a call using the earphones while watching a movie on the laptop. The automatic switching between the devices is just fabulous.
